Biography
In spite of the tensions permeating the ever-changing lineups of Deep Purple, ex-bandmates Ian Gillan (vocals) and Roger Glover (bass, synth) remained on good terms through the years. In 1988, the two teamed up for a one-off album titled Accidentally on Purpose, which allowed the duo to explore varying styles in addition to their time-tested hard rock formula. ~ Steve Huey
