Their debut album, The Thin Red Line, became a hit when "Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)" reached the top of the national charts in the summer of 1986. After 1988's Diamond Sun, drummer Michael Hanson quit, leaving guitarist Al Connelly, vocalist Alan Frew, bassist Wayne Parker, and keyboard player Sam Reid.
