Hailing from Silver Springs, Maryland, and growing up in the rap hotbed of the greater D.C./Maryland/Virginia area, rapper Global Dan quickly established himself with hook-heavy choruses and high-energy lyrical flows. His 2017 break-out track "Off-White" put him on the map and led to high-profile collaborations on mixtapes like 2019's Global Meltdown. Global Dan grew up immersed in the rap sounds coming from his area, and decided to try his hand at rapping in his late teens.
