b. Rosa María Coscolin, 1 November 1922, Vilafranca del Penedès, Barcelona, Spain, d. 4 December 2005, Cuernavaca, Mexico. Singing from childhood, Lasso attained considerable popularity in the 50s, working chiefly in France. Her records sold well, among them ‘Amour', ‘Castagnettes Et Tango', ‘Etranger Au Paradis', ‘Padre', ‘Buenas Noches Mi Amor' and ‘Bon Voyage'.
