Good Evening Manchester

Good Evening Manchester were an alternative rock band from the Åland Islands. Active from the mid-'80s through the early '90s, they debuted in 1986 as a quartet -- guitarists/vocalists Patrik Dahlblom and Anders Korpi, drummer Niklas Dahlblom, and bassist Hans-Erik Ramström -- with a self-titled EP released on the small Kustrock label. After that, the band signed to major-label CBS in their home country, and their lyrics switched from Swedish to English. Learning to Sing, their debut album, was released in 1988.
