Got a Girl is an American indie pop duo formed by esteemed producer Dan "The Automator" Nakamura (Gorillaz, Deltron 3030, Handsome Boy Modeling School) and singer/actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Smashed, Live Free or Die Hard). The two met on the set of the 2010 movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, where Winstead was acting in a supporting role and Nakamura was providing part of the film's score.
