GOT the beat

Tinged with dance-pop and hip-hop, the effervescent K-pop of GOT the Beat is the product of SM Entertainment. An effort to spotlight the female artists on their roster, the project's first unit consisted of members of Girls' Generation, Red Velvet, and Aespa. They had a Top Five hit in Korea with debut single "Step Back" in 2022 before their first EP, Stamp on It, reached Japan's Top 30 in 2023. Short for "girls on top," GOT was established by SM Entertainment with the intention to feature every female artist on their roster through various units. The first unit, GOT the Beat...
