Gurriers

Combining elements of punk and shoegaze, the Dublin indie rock quintet Gurriers emerged in the early 2020s with a raucous, urgent sound, delivering biting social and political commentary using half-sung, half-spoken lyrics. Their guitarist Mark MacCormack and football obsessive drummer Pierce Callaghan grew up together in Castleblayney, County Monaghan, a rural town in the north of Ireland.
