Hand of Glory

US hard rock band Hand Of Glory combined dark Texan romanticism with a strong dash of southern gothic. Although they shared some musical similarities with the Cult and the Doors, Hand Of Glory purveyed a unique sound. Far From Kith and Kin, featured some strong moments, most notably the ironic revolutionary anthem ‘Ball And Chain', but lacked identity. With Here Be Serpents they blended the magical, the maudlin and the macabre with vitality and wit.
