Hannover Boys Choir

The Knabenchor Hannover boychoir was one of the first children's choirs in Germany to engage with the historical performance movement. The group was founded by conductor Heinz Hennig, who led it for 51 years, and it developed a distinctive sound. The Knabenchor Hannover issued major recordings of music by Bach and Heinrich Schütz that continue to gain new listeners.
