b. Harold Richard Lang, 21 December 1920, Daly City, California, USA, d. 26 July 1985, Chico, California, USA. A classically trained dancer, Lang performed with the Ballets Russes de Monte Carlo and with the American Ballet Theatre. He began a parallel career dancing in the chorus of musical comedies, sometimes on Broadway. Among shows of the 40s in which he appeared are Mr. Strauss Goes To Boston (1945), Three To Make Ready (1946), Look Ma, I'm Dancin' (1948) and Kiss Me, Kate (1948).
