Heidi Newfield

Already having made a name for herself as the highly energetic frontwoman of new country trio Trick Pony, Heidi Newfield decided upon a solo career, and in November of 2006 announced that she was leaving the group and going it alone. The Heldsburg, CA-raised Newfield was exposed to the music she would make a career out of at an early age. With her love of country, blues, and rock in tow, Newfield made her first attempts at stardom at the very young age of 13, taking a trip to Nashville to cut a demo.
