Henrik Appel's '60s-tinged garage tunes and raw, visceral vocal style are rooted in the Stockholm punk and garage rock revival scene. He released his first solo album, the electric guitar-centric Burning Bodies, in 2018 before expanding arrangements for 2021's Humanity. He went for a more improvisational sound on 2024's Shadows, which was recorded as a four-piece.
