New Jersey post-hardcore group Hidden in Plain View emerged in the mid-2000s with a sound that blended emo intensity and aggressive playing with pop melodicism. After a series of EPs, they signed with Drive-Thru Records and released a pair of albums, 2005's Life in Dreaming and 2007's Resolution, before disbanding later that year. Reuniting in 2015 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their debut album, they also issued a new EP, Animal, and continued performing into the next decade.
