During a hiatus in Lady A's career, Hillary Scott recorded an inspirational album called Love Remains. This 2016 album was credited to Hillary Scott & The Scott Family, a tip of the hat to the extended kin supporting her on this album. Scott started singing with her family as a child, being the daughter of country vocalist Linda Davis and Lang Scott. Hillary made her first professional appearance as part of a holiday concert held by her mother.
