Hoda Kotb rose to NBC's long-running morning talk show Today in 2008, hosting the show's fourth hour for a decade prior to moving to the main seat a decade later. It was a career capper for a journalist who first began broadcasting in 1986, when she was a morning anchor for WQAD-TV in Moline, Illinois.
