The solo project of Yung frontman Mikkel Holm Silkjær, Holm puts a more personal, expressive spin on the lush, brooding post-punk and driving dance-rock stylings of his indie rock band. The title and concept of his full-length solo debut, 2022's Why Don't You Dance, was inspired by a short story by Raymond Carver, while the more alienated follow-up, 2023's Alien Health, looked to exiled Hungarian author Ágota Kristóf.
