Horizon Ignited

Horizon Ignited is a Finnish deathcore group that combines the melodic death metal style of pioneering artists like In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, and Children of Bodom with the neck-snapping modern thrash of Killswitch Engage and Trivium. Founded in 2017 by guitarists Johannes Mäkinen and Vili Vottonen in the city of Kouvola, the band eventually expanded into a six-piece with the arrival of vocalist Okko Solanterä, keyboardist Miska Ek, bassist Jukka Haarala, and drummer Jiri Vanhatalo.
