Hunts Determination Band

While determination is obviously a good thing in the music business, in the case of this late '70s soul outfit the question is who "Hunt" is, since there is nobody by this name on the group's records. The reference might be to hunters and hunting, not exactly a typical subject in the cosmic funk of the late '70s, although the classic Albert King song "The Hunter" might be an inspiration.
