Hustlers Convention

A duo of Mike Gray and John Pearn. Mike had been a DJ for 14 years, spinning old school disco from labels such as Prelude and Salsoul, playing various gigs around Croydon, Surrey, England. He met Pearn when he was operating the lights at a local pub. They started to collaborate together, bringing samplers in for live mixes with drum machines and records. Although John did not at that time possess Mike's experience, he quickly became a self-taught engineer, and offered megamixes and remixes for DMC.
