With a love of sunshiny pop and spacy synths, the Bay Area duo of Sam Frigard and Robert Ashley make genre-skipping indie pop. The band first used their psychedelic excursions to provide the interstitial music for Ashley's internet radio show, A Life Well Wasted, before self-releasing their eponymous debut digitally as a pay-what-you-want download. ~ Gregory Heaney
