Dancehall/reggae singer IamStylezMusic was born Sheldon Ellington in the St. Catherine Parish, Jamaica, not far from Kingston. He moved around Jamaica a lot as a child and in the mid-2000's, Ellington moved to the United States and formed the pop-minded dancehall duo Stylez N Kardo. The group did well, supporting bigger names in the dancehall scene and making some waves of their own before disbanding in 2012.
