Something of an anomaly in their native Norway, where black metal rules the roost, Oslo's Insense made a conscious decision to diverge into other extreme metal subgenres by fusing influences like Pantera, Meshuggah, Slipknot, and the Dillinger Escape Plan into their songwriting.
