Isaac Green & The Skalars

Certainly one of the few bands named in honor of a member whose duties included little more than dancing, singing occasional backup vocals and making sound effects, Isaac Green and the Skalars were among the leaders of the St. Louis ska-revival scene of the 1990s. Founded circa 1992 by Green, guitarist Ethan D'Ercole and bassist Will Horton, after a series of roster changes the group later grew to also include vocalist/saxophonist Jessica Butler, trombonist Evan Shaw, Farfisa player Jason Brody and drummer Dave Sharma.
