Isaac Guillory

b. 27 February 1947, US Navy Base, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, d. 31 December 2000, England. Having played piano and guitar from childhood, Guillory first explored the electric guitar while in Florida, playing with the Illusions. Moving to Chicago in 1965, he studied Theory and Composition at Roosevelt University. He joined the Chicago-based pop outfit the Cryan' Shames in 1967 as bass player, and recorded two albums with them before leaving in 1969. In 1970 Guillory left the USA in order to travel.
