Isole

Originally known as Forlorn, Gavle, Sweden's Isole formed (under that rather overused moniker) in 1990. Core members Crister Olsson (guitars and vocals) and Daniel Bryntse (guitars and vocals) recorded some demos with a handful of different members making up the roster, hoping that their brand of doom metal would get noticed. Unfortunately, the lack of stability in the membership led to (still known as) Forlorn taking an extended break after the 1994 demo Waves of Sorrow.
