This urgent and politically minded, post-punk revival quartet are a product of London's D.I.Y. scene in the 2010s. Taking their name from one of the most iconic FIFA World Cup tournaments, the band was formed by friends and housemates who had known one another since their Brighton school days. They were based in Whitechapel, east London, at the time of recording their earliest demos in 2014. However, by the time their original guitarist left, they'd moved south of the river to New Cross.
