J. Worra produces swaggering, feelgood tracks incorporating elements from several eras of house music. Her early releases, including 2017's Downtown Diva EP, had more of a stripped-down, bass-heavy tech-house sound. Over time, her music shifted to a more melodic style more heavily influenced by classic Chicago house, with releases like 2021's some ppl fall EP. "Check Out" (with Leo Stannard) was a major streaming success, and she's followed it with tracks such as 2022's "Lightning to Strike" (with Nathan Nicholson) and 2025's "SMYLM."
