Jacinto

Jacinto is the stage name of Mexican indie pop songwriter Gonzalo Guerra Gómez. Born in Guadalajara, Jacinto grew up listening to rock en español icons such as Soda Stereo and Caifanes, learned to play guitar and piano, and played in bands with friends. As he reached his twenties and focused on his university studies -- earning a degree in business engineering from the prestigious ITAM university -- he kept his passion for music alive by playing and writing on his own, a change that made his material more singer/songwriter-oriented.
