Deep house producer and soft rock singer/songwriter Jack J has always managed to find the intersection between indie rock and electronic dance music, transitioning to full-on soft rock by the time of his debut album, 2022's Opening the Door.
Born in Australia, he moved to Vancouver, Canada when he was a teenager. While there he founded Pender Street Steppers alongside Liam Butler. He also launched Mood Hut Records in 2012, christening the label with his debut solo release as Jack J titled "Something (On My Mind)."
