Jaime Martín has had significant careers as a flutist and, beginning in the late 2000s, as a conductor. He has had an especially international career in the latter field, holding chief conductor positions in Sweden, the U.S., Ireland, and Australia. Those have led to a varied recording catalog that by 2025 included some 40 albums. That catalog included the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's Gustav Holst: The Planets (and Earth), released that year.
