Conductor Jaroslav Kyzlink is a major figure in the operatic sphere in his home country, and he has been active in that field well beyond the borders of the Czech Republic. He has been closely associated with the Janáček Opera in his home city of Brno and with the National Theatre in Prague, where he served for some years as music director.
