Jason Loewenstein

Jason Loewenstein is a Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who made his name as a member of respected indie rock outfits Sebadoh and Fiery Furnaces. He has also done session work and released a pair of solo albums beginning with 2002's At Sixes and Sevens, followed 15 years later by 2017's Spooky Action. A native of Northampton, Massachusetts, he was asked in 1989 by Eric Gaffney and Dinosaur Jr.'s Lou Barlow to join their project Sebadoh, which had just released two lo-fi albums.
