Jazz Gitti is an Austrian schlager singer whose recording career spans several decades, beginning in the 1980s and peaking in popularity during the early '90s, when she fronted the band Jazz Gitti & Her Disco Killers. Born Martha Buthbul on May 13, 1946, in Vienna, Austria, she made her recording debut in 1984 with the 7" single "Hey Du" on the label Sing Sang. However, her career didn't take flight until 1990 with the release of her chart-topping full-length album debut, A Wunda.
