Jean-Baptiste Fonlupt

A mainstay of the French piano scene, Jean-Baptiste Fonlupt tends to stress lesser-known music in his programming. He also has a strong commitment to contemporary music. Fonlupt was born in France in 1976. He began studying the piano at age six at the Conservatoire de Grenoble. He won the Royaume de Musique competition at 13 and appeared as soloist with the Orchestre Colonne at the Maison de la Radio in Paris.
