Jean Michel Pilc

b. 19 October 1960, Paris, France. Pilc began playing piano at the age of 10 and is largely self-taught. He worked extensively with French and visiting jazz musicians, among them John Abercrombie, Richard Bona, Michael Brecker, André Céccarelli, Roy Haynes, Daniel Humair, Dave Liebman, Michel Portal, Aldo Romano, Martial Solal, and Jean Toussaint.
