Jeff Tyzik's intriguing career stretches from pop music - working with some of the luminaries of instrumental music in the ‘70s and ‘80s - and continues with pops conducting, appearing on podiums with some of the most celebrated orchestras in America. Born Jeff Tkazyik in Hyde Park, NY in 1951, he took up the cornet at the age of nine after seeing a drum and bugle corps at a Fourth of July parade.
