Jenni Vartiainen

A Finnish pop vocalist, Jenni Vartiainen came into the pubic consciousness when she won the Finnish television talent reality show Popstars with two other female pop singers. The victory for the three of them led to the formation of a band called Gimmel and a string of releases and performances -- which were of notable success -- beginning in 2002. The group disbanded in 2004, following a final tour.
