Biography

Jesse Ed Davis was a guitarist, songwriter, and producer known primarily for session and touring work during the 1960s and '70s. He played with Taj Mahal, Gene Clark, Albert King, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and B.B. King among others. On Jesse Davis, his 1970 Atco solo debut, his supporting cast included Ben Sidran, Eric Clapton, and Leon Russell. In 1971 he appeared with George Harrison at the Concert For Bangla Desh. In 1972, he issued Ululu, backed by a trio of Dr. John, Jim Keltner, and Donald "Duck" Dunn. Davis released Keep Me Comin' for Epic in '73, his final solo album....
