Jesse Garon & The Desperadoes

This Edinburgh-based act emerged in 1986. Initially viewed as an informal venture - its founding line-up was largely drawn from members of another group, Rote Kopelle - the Desperadoes nonetheless established themselves as the leading exponents of the city's ‘shambling' scene, alongside the more fêted Shop Assistants.
