Biography
Percussionist, instrument builder, and composer Jesse Stewart is an active part of Canada's jazz and free improv community. The breadth of his eclecticism is best encapsulated by his multimedia jazz opera, "Passages." He can be heard with pianist Ajay Heble on their recording Different Windows, and has performed with a wide array of musicians including Joe McPhee, LaDonna Smith, Eddie Prevost, and Carlo Actis Dalo. ~ Wade Kergan
