A onetime backing singer for Alicia Keys, Jessy Wilson's stylish R&B takes influence from the soul music of the '60s and '70s. She released her debut album, Phase, in 2019.
A Brooklyn native, Wilson attended performing arts school Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in Manhattan. After graduating, she was selected to sing backup for Alicia Keys, eventually appearing on multiple Keys albums and tours. Her singing was featured on the Skyzoo single "The Knowing" in 2012.
