Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jim Ward is best known as the frontman and lead guitarist for Sparta (2002 to 2020) and the co-founder of the seminal post-hardcore group At the Drive-In (1994 to 2001). In 2008, he formed the alternative country-rock band Sleepercar, and in 2021 he released his first full-length solo effort, Daggers, which combined stylistic elements from all his projects.
