Country guitarist Joe Carr has issued several solo releases over the years, in addition to being a one-time member of the bluegrass outfit Country Gazette, guesting on other artist's records, and issuing numerous instructional guitar videos. An entirely self-taught musician, Carr began playing guitar at the age of 13 (inspired by Doc Watson), which led to such other instruments as mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and ukulele.
