Joe Greene

Joe Greene picks both guitar and pedal steel, and has recorded with the prolific bluegrass fiddler Kenny Baker. As country & western began to sound a bit more traditional again in the '90s, Greene began to appear on recordings by newer artists such as Johnny Western and Joe Green and the Jackson Highway Band. The name of the latter artist suggests great potential for future music collaborations, perhaps even an entire style of music played by people named Green: "greengrass. ~ Eugene Chadbourne
