Biography
New York-based composer, arranger and pianist/keyboardist Joel Diamond has successfully fused his interests in "serious" orchestral music and contemporary electronica. His string quartet, "Danza Caprichosa", recorded by Orchestra Nova, was nominated for a Grammy award. His ballet, Leonard And Minky, was premiered, with narration by Mayor Ed Koch and choreography by John Selya, at New York's Dance Theater Workshop, in January 2000.
