Joey Diaz

Born in Cuba and raised in North Bergen, New Jersey, standup comedian Joey Diaz is known for his rough, tough, and hilarious act, an act he refined in prison. Serving a term for aggravated robbery and kidnapping, Diaz took to the stage when the projector broke down during movie night. Upon release, he moved to Los Angeles and began performing at open mikes while landing some small roles in major films (Analyze That, Spiderman 2) before becoming a regular player on the sitcom My Name Is Earl in 2007.
