John Németh (pronounced Nay-meth) is a Memphis-based blues and soul singer, songwriter, and harmonicist. In addition to releasing his own albums, he's played in the bands of Junior Watson, Anson Funderburgh, and Elvin Bishop. His 2007 debut, Magic Touch, was produced by Funderburgh and included Watson. It catapulted him onto the national blues scene. His fingerpopping originals, soul-drenched covers, and singing and playing chops drew comparisons to James Hunter, Curtis Salgado, and Kim Wilson.
