John Slaughter Blues Band

Playing guitar, John Slaughter led his Blues Band from the early 90s when it appeared at the World Of Music And Dance R&B festival and toured Germany and the Netherlands, appearing at clubs and playing concerts. The band also appeared at European festivals, including the Montreux Jazz Festival. Drawing upon a pool of highly experienced British blues players, the line-up of the band has featured Paul Cox (vocals), Richard Simmons (keyboard), Jim Rodford (bass), Steve Dixon (drums), and Nick Payn, Andy Hamilton and Frank Mead (saxophones).
