Johnny May Cash is a rapper associated with Chicago's drill scene. Delivering blunt tales about city life, he has a smooth flow which occasionally drifts into Auto-Tune-laced singing. He first appeared on mixtapes by Chief Keef and Lil Reese in 2012, when he was 17 years old. His debut mixtape Paranoid appeared in 2013, and he came to the attention of Young Chop, who signed him to Chop Squad and produced much of his work.
